Q. How much does boot camp cost?

A.  We offer 1 month, 3 month, 6 month and 12 month commitments, and the investment varies between $149 to $209 on a monthly basis, inclusive of pre and post measurements and nutrition coaching.  We have slightly different pricing for our outdoor camps because they are seasonal.  To learn more about outdoor program options click here.

Q. What should I bring?

A. We recommend you bring a workout towel and your own water bottle.

Q. What should I wear?

A. We recommend you wear a good pair of cross-trainers, and a comfortable, loose-fitting track suit or shorts with a t-shirt.  It’s also a great idea to bring a track suit jumper because the room may be a bit cold initially.

Q. How long is each boot camp?

A: Each boot camp is 4 weeks, 3 sessions per week, 1 hour per session. Your program may require more than 4 weeks depending on your goals. Many of our current boot campers are on a monthly recurring membership because the rates are better, and they love everything they get with boot camp compared to the traditional gym membership. Memberships are month-to-month and you can cancel anytime after the first three months with at least 7 days notice prior to the start of the next camp. If you are on a month-to-month plan there is no need to re-register each month.

Q: If I miss a few sessions or a week or more, can I make those up in the next boot camp?

A: Your registration is based on a 4 week commitment and cannot be extended into the next camp. Also, we do not prorate boot camp tuition if you cannot make all four weeks or all three sessions per week. In a given month, if you know you will need to miss more than a week of sessions due to travel or other circumstances, you can ask to freeze your registration for that month by notifying us not less than 7 days prior to the start of the next camp.

Q: How will I know my progress?

A: We offer initial and follow up bodyfat, weight and inch measurements as part of your tuition. Measurements occur on a first come, first served basis during pre-appointed times at the beginning and end of each boot camp.

Q: What is the recommended footwear for boot camp?

A: Footwear is very important as it will allow you to perform training movements more efficiently and safely. A good pair of cross-training shoes are essential for boot camp style workouts. Cross-training shoes will better support lateral move-ment, which is important. Running shoes are not suitable for boot camp. If you need new shoes, Evolution Fitness members receive a 10% discount at New Balance Toronto. New Balance is the brand our instructors wear and recommend. Please ask us for a referral slip to ensure you have no difficulties in receiving your discount.

Q: I have a friend that wants to try boot camp. Can he/she come try a session?

A: Yes, of course. Anybody who wants to try a session is welcome to join. Please just have them announce themselves to the instructor. And if your friend joins boot camp, you receive a 50% discount on your next month’s boot camp.  If two friends join, your next month is on us!

Q: Is parking included?

A: There is public parking across from us on Hayden St. which is free until 8 am.  At the park, there is parking on Jackes Ave. which is free before 8am also.

Q: Are there change rooms available?

A: There are change rooms with lockers and showers available at our Florida Jack’s location. Many of our boot campers shower in our studio after boot camp and before going to work.
